Many things are very high quality. The armorers wrench I think is excellent. Some of the things are made from plastic. I think for the money and this should be made of metal. Generally it is well-thought-out. I think it is superior to the options
Model: Armorer's Master Kit
Product Type: Tool
Just completed my first build with it. As a newb I didn’t use the kit to its full potential not knowing my way around the gun and tool set. I would suggest taking the time to read the included material and get very familiar with your parts and pieces so you can use this kit properly. When I finished the build I went back through the material and thought how ingenious this kit is made for every aspect of the build. First build took me 3 hours and expect next to be less than 1. You obviously can do it without this kit but if you are going to hunt for the misc tools then might as well get something designed specifically for the job for a few bucks more, my thought anyway.
One of the 1st things I brought to start my build. It has everything you need to repair or upgrade your build. i would recommend to anyone starting out.
i was looking to buy a few tools to work on my AR 15, after pricing each individual pice i realized it was going to cost well over $300 give or take a couple dollars, i came across Ballistic Deals.com, i was very impressed by the great deals they offer so i placed my order, i received my AR 15 Tool kit in about one week, i opened the box as soon as i got it to inspect the items, i gotta say this is by far the best too kit for the money, i got it for less than $200, this kit sells everywhere else for around $249.99 plus tax and shipping, i am very happy with the quality of the tools, Thanks Ballistic Deals, five stars all the way
this kit is what everyone needs to build or repair their AR15 great product
I was tickled to find this for under $200, even with shipping added in. I had long since determined to buy one but didn't want to spend $250 ++ . Be advised, this is an AR15 tool set. I have found that the upper vise block does not fit my .308 (AR10 - Palmetto calls it a PA10). Other items may not be exactly right for AR10 either. I have not tried every piece yet. If I could say anything to the manufacturer, I would have preferred the blow molded case to be rectangular with the additional space providing secured storage for parts or additional tools. I could also live without the name embossed on the case. I don't always care to advertise what I am carrying. Also, could you consider offering the same tool kit for AR10? Or both in one set? Or even just a set of the few things that would be different? With all that said, I would prefer to write a review after using it for a while but I'll give it four stars just for the super price and everything you need for AR15 in one kit.
This kit is pretty complete for building an msr. That being said the bench block, lower vise block and the reaction rod are awesome. For removing the ejector for headspace check the bench block is really great. I'm not sure if the pin punches are any good, I have a set of grace usa punches I use and the wheeler set for the bolt catch. The hammer, wrench combo works well but the steel side is a little awkward due to the handle shape. All in I think it is a good deal at under $200.00 but wouldn't pay list.
Solid product! Everything you need to get going with an AR build!
